The girls enjoyed tree climbing in the backyard this fall. This was a new adventure for them. It was a marker in my life too. Tree climbing is cheap entertainment. I’ll bet the past time goes way back. People have been doing it since the garden probably. Taylor and Payton took turns going up as far as their courage would allow. I stood at the bottom of the trunk for moral support and the occational helping hand. Watching them whipped up all kinds of surreal feelings. It’s a helpless state to be in. My babies were rising off terra firma. I was really proud of their bravery and daring. They itched to go up. I think it’s the way it should be. To hanker for risk, throwing caution to the wind. Don’t you?
